We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our talented, kind, and rapidly scaling team. You will drive user-centric projects and create interfaces that bring clarity to complex workflows for the hundreds of organizations that trust us with their critical data.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Design within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Product Pillar, you will join a squad focused on helping customers manage multiple security frameworks (such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR) simultaneously. This role offers the unique opportunity to develop AI-first features to streamline compliance programs and shape Vanta’s evolving design culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Excellence: Bring a high standard of visual and interaction design to ensure intuitive and delightful user experiences.
- Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to create guidelines that improve user content and user guidance within the platform.
- Iteration: Refine solutions based on user feedback, data insights, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Product Managers.
- Systems Thinking: Create cohesive experiences by ensuring design patterns and components are used consistently across the Vanta ecosystem.
- Impact: Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders to build alignment and enthusiasm for new ideas.
- Mentorship: Lead by example and provide guidance to junior designers to help them grow their skills and best practices.
What You Bring
- Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally within B2B SaaS or other complex domains.
- Portfolio: A strong showcase of UI/UX expertise, high visual craftsmanship, and comprehensive documentation for design components.
- Inclusivity: Proven experience in creating inclusive and accessible design solutions.
- Technical Mastery: Expertise in Figma, including advanced use of auto-layout, properties, and variables.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with an ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.
