We are seeking a Business Development Associate to drive the growth, visibility, and strategic positioning of our studio. This role is for a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between digital outreach and physical representation to secure high-value opportunities.

The Role

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and initiating high-level conversations to ensure Studio COKA’s work is recognized locally and globally. You will manage the full lead-generation pipeline, from initial research to proposal support, while actively pursuing features, partnerships, and strategic placements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and project opportunities via LinkedIn, email, and physical outreach.
  • Visibility & Positioning: Source opportunities for the studio to be featured in competitions and global platforms; ensure our portfolio reaches the right audiences.
  • Relationship Management: Initiate and maintain consistent communication with prospects, tracking all conversations through a structured pipeline.
  • Proposals & Presentations: Support the development of compelling proposals and submission materials.
  • Field Representation: Engage directly with institutions and high-value environments to present the studio’s work professionally.
  • Strategic Growth: Source partnerships and strategic opportunities that align with our focus on architecture and development.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles. Familiarity with the design/construction industry is an advantage.
  • Location: Based in Enugu (Required).
  • Mobility: Comfortable traveling within the South East and to Lagos for client engagement and outreach.

Job Details

  • Salary: ₦180,000 monthly (Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000).
  • Incentives: Performance-based bonuses tied to lead generation, project conversions, and visibility outcomes.
  • Type: Full-Time, Onsite.
  • Deadline: May 6, 2026.
