We are seeking a proactive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with company users through outbound calls, providing essential support, gathering valuable feedback, and driving user retention. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage high-volume user engagement effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- User Engagement: Conduct outbound phone calls to maintain relationships with existing users and successfully recall inactive users back to the platform.
- Effective Communication: Clearly explain product information, service updates, and solutions in a friendly, professional manner.
- Conflict Resolution: Respond to user questions and concerns, ensuring swift resolution or proper escalation to the relevant department.
- Data Management: Accurately record call details, feedback, and follow-up actions in internal systems or CRM tools in real-time.
- Reporting: Provide daily and weekly reports on call volumes, user responses, and achieved targets.
- Performance: Consistently meet or exceed daily call quotas and departmental KPIs while maintaining high call quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify user trends and challenges to provide actionable insights for service enhancement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma (S.S.C.E).
- Experience: Entry level (1 year). Prior experience in customer service, telesales, or user engagement is a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and proficient in at least one local Nigerian language (Yoruba, Hausa, or Igbo).
- Digital Literacy: Ability to operate tablets or smartphones for CRM updates and type simple, accurate reports.
- Soft Skills: Strong emotional intelligence, active listening, and the ability to remain calm during difficult conversations.
- Preferred Profile: Female candidates between the ages of 18–33 years are highly recommended to apply.
Job Details
- Location: Lagos (Full-Time)
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Salary: NGN 250,000 – 400,000 (Negotiable plus Commission)
